How to Use a Chi Machine

Although there are people who get excited on using this innovative equipment, there are however, also those who feel unsettled at first knowledge or even glance of it. Perhaps the main reason for reacting so could be skepticism or unfamiliarity on using the device. Nevertheless, careful reading and following of the instructional guide can ensure any user that the device is actually user-friendly and safe to use.

Following are essential guidelines to go by for proper use of the chi machine.

•    Before using the chi machine, make sure you have waited at least half and hour after a meal. But there are those however, who prefer using it before breakfast and before retiring to bed at night to induce deep sleep. Make sure to designate a room for its use to avoid interruptions or disruptions. Using it on a carpeted hard floor is best.

•    Handle the device with its side away from you, place it on the floor then plug in. You can either use the ankle covers or a towel placed over the ankle rests to provide support for your ankle bones. Make sure that your feet hang past the ankle rests so they would flop gently forward and backward once the device is turned on. Have arms loose at your sides with your palms downward. Avoid using pillow under your head to allow the machine to motion freely. And although not required, people with severe knee troubles can place a rolled towel under their knees for support.

•    Once the machine’s timer is set, the footrest then begins to move gently back and forth and from side to side. This gentle motion carries up through legs and torso, then eventually throughout the entire body. You would then feel like wiggling gently back and forth similar to a swimming gold fish. By allowing your body to relax and surrender with some deep breathing, you are evidently enabling the chi machine to oxygenate your entire body system.
Remember to remain still for at least 30 seconds and breathing deeply, the moment the machine stops. It is at this state when the healing Chi energy is actually felt circulating throughout the entire body system.

•    People with normal health condition can use the machine for 5 minutes, twice a day at the least; but for those who with major health concerns should be less. Usage can be increased gradually (10-15 minutes or more). Normal advancing should be increased by one minute per week, twice a day.
